Toni Moriston

I was born and raised in Spirit Lake, Iowa. My parents owned a construction company and as a child I always wanted to work on the job sites with my dad; even throughout my middle school and high school years. As I grew older, I realized I wanted a different kind of hands-on career.

At the age of fifteen I started working in the food and beverage industry. I clung to the fast pace environment that restaurants offered and eventually moved into management positions. However, I always felt I was meant for a different calling.

In August of 2010 I had a change of heart and began to do some soul searching. I knew I loved helping people, but I wasn’t sure what path that would lead me down. I had done some research on massage therapy and started to think that this would be something I would enjoy. I looked in to schools in the Sioux Falls area and was impressed with Globe University and enrolled for the fall semester. I started classes and quickly fell in love with massage therapy, the human anatomy, and the healing power of touch. I finished school in the winter of 2012 and received my license from the South Dakota Board of Massage Therapy in early 2013.

While in school, I had an amazing opportunity to do my internship at ChiroSport Chiropractic Clinic in south Sioux Falls.

When my apprenticeship began at ChiroSport, my world opened to a greater understanding of the body and catapulted my interest in health and nutrition. The expertise of the doctors and staff only fueled my passion in discovering unique ways to heal the body, mind, and the soul.

In March of 2014, my discipline and rigorous training paid off, and I opened BodyLogic Massage Studio, located at 5709 South Remington Place, Sioux Falls, SD. I have been working as a massage therapist and a Nutrametrix health and nutrition consultant since then, and I love every minute of it.

Ryan Peskey

I was born and raised in Huron, SD. I graduated high school in 1993 and went into the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. I then joined the South Dakota National Guard in 1996 and I am still serving there as an aircraft mechanic.

I am married to my wife Melissa and we have 2 kids, Charlee and Axton. We live in the country in the Hartford area with a mixed bunch of animals. Generally, its dogs and a rat but we have had chickens, ducks, peacocks and other types of farm animals hanging out with us.

I graduated from Globe University with a massage therapy degree in September of 2016. I am also a hot air balloon pilot. I got into both hot air ballooning and massage due to our daughter Charlee. She was about 15 or 16 weeks early and weighed 1 pound 6.5 ounces. Her head was the size of a tennis ball and her tongue was the size of a tic tac. We used massage therapy for her and I was amazed to see the improvements she made when she would have treatments. I did my externship at Willert Chiropractic in Brookings. This allowed me to explore another aspect of how the body heals itself with our manipulation.
